Paper enters every office every day. If you don’t assign a proper system to deal and arrange your papers, you will sooner or later end with a huge paper pile everywhere which will then become very difficult to manage. Here are four steps to reduce time, energy and paper clutters in your office or home:

Firstly, assign a proper place to keep all the papers. You need a proper work place to keep existing and incoming papers.

Secondly, get some managerial tools for your work place like a comfortable chair, desk table, a paper shredder, file cabinet for paper storage, a waste basket,  simple tools to keep office supplies like pens, pencils, envelopes, tape, staples, stamps, stamp, Avery labels, vertical sorter and some slash pocket folders. There needs to be something that can be used to keep pending files on your desk top.

Thirdly, set some systems to control the incoming paperwork. Make file folders or set up tickler file to hold paperwork. It could be papers to signor read, holiday or birthday card lists to manage or bills to pay.

Fourthly, send the additional papers to the paper shredder, file cabinet or trash.
